It has been over a year since Stefanie and I met at the Blink Dating event at Hoyts Queen St, Brisbane.  We both went to the event as a bit of fun with friends, not really expecting to meet anyone.  The six minutes that we had together flew by as we got along really well.  The movie event afterwards gave a great opportunity to get to know each other a bit more.  I was excited to see Stefanies' contact details come through the next day and called to arrange our first date.

From that point on, things have been fantastic.  If it wasn't for Blink we would never have met as we lived in different areas and were both sick of the nightclub scene.

Deciding to go the Blink event was the best investment I have ever made.

We just thought we would drop you a line and let you know about the success of our Speed Dating experience. We both attended a Speed Dating evening in May of 2005 at the Privilege Bar in the Blackett Hotel, Sydney.

Going along with friends for a fun night out, we both approached the evening with an open but sceptical mind about the reality of meeting someone special. Overall we had a great night meeting many single and cool people like us.

To our surprise we did both find that someone special in the 5 minutes we had to get to know each other and the rest is history! We are now living together and very much in love.

On the 28th of May we will be celebrating our one year anniversary.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for bringing us together and to say to anyone who has ever contemplated doing speed dating to go along and see what destiny may bring your way!
